Objectives: -Establish meaningful/sustained/effective relationships/partnerships/collaborations between the North and the South related to core themes of the Chair. -Generate a beneficial/critical/engaging multi-/inter-/trans-disciplinary research program in relation to core themes -Build and enhance capacity for transformative education for democracy, peace, global citizenship and social justice in several jurisdictions. -Establish an educational program in democracy and transformative education and other means of transferring knowledge. -Develop models/projects/programs and initiatives that help stimulate civil society and in/non/formal educational engagement. -Engage with alternative/social/traditional/other media to contribute to public discourse/debate/dialogue. ​
